I am moving to East London to be with my boyfriend who works as a teacher at a school at the end of the Central line. I am therefore looking to rent out my lovely one bed flat in New Cross Gate. As this is the first time renting out my flat, ideally I'm looking for a tenant for 6 months from January, although I can be fairly flexible about the dates for the right person.

I've been in the flat for over two years and I love it. The flat is only a 5/6 minute walk to New Cross Gate station and around the corner from a big Sainsburys. The flat is in the Hatcham conservation area which is a quiet oasis just off the Old Kent Road. The area is really well connected - you can get to London Bridge in less than 10 minutes, or you can get the Overground to Canada Water (Jubilee Line) or up to Shoreditch / Dalston / Highbury & Islington. There are also excellent bus links really close by on New Cross Road that take you in to Peckham, Camberwell or Central London. While everyone likes to go out in Peckham, New Cross has more of a local feel about it and there are a couple of great pubs really close by, the Rose Inn and New Cross House being my personal favourites. You can also walk to Brockley and Peckham in about 20 minutes.

The flat is very spacious for a one bed flat and has lots of storage. The flat comes fully furnished and all bills are included in the rent.

It's a great flat and would be perfect for someone who wants to move away from a house share, or a couple who wants to try living in the area before buying.
