The flat features a double bedroom with a full wardrobe, fully kitted-out kitchen, a beautiful living room with dining table and a sofa bed, a bath and shower.
The lovely South-facing balcony with its olive tree is perfect for coffee or wine. I can't guarantee the sun as it is England, but if it is sunny outside, it will be sunny on the balcony!
The flat is very comfortable for 2 people, it can accommodate 4 people but not on a long term basis.
It is a short walk from attractions including the London Eye and Houses of Parliament while Kennington and Vauxhall stations nearby offer quick and easy access to the City and Canary Wharf. Buses will take you to central in no time.
It is very easy to park in the street close to the flat.
The building is quiet, most of the neighbors are professionals. A concierge is present.
You will find plenty of pubs and I can recommend a few restaurants and coffee shops close by.
Supermarkets: Tesco Express is down the building, big Tesco is 7min walk away, Little Waitrose and Sainsbury local at Vauxhall station.
Getting around
10min walk to Kennington station (Northern line)
15min walk to Vauxhall station (Victoria line, railway, buses)
Bank (the City): 20min - tube or bicycle
Canary Wharf: 30min - tube
Buses 59, 159 and 3 down the building take you to Central London (Soho, Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Oxford Street) in less than 30min. They are night buses too.
Museums (Science, Natural History, Victoria & Albert) are a direct bus ride (360) from down the building
Waterloo/ Southbank / BigBen / Houses of Parliament: 25 min walk
This is my home; I will appreciate if you treat it with respect.
No smoking inside, no BBQ outside (or inside...), no pet, no laundry left to dry on the balcony.
Please be respectful of neighbors: they are quiet, no loud noise after 10pm.
It is best to take your shoes off in the flat. Strict no shoe policy in the bedroom (cream carpet).
It would be great if you could water the olive tree once in a while, and swipe Hibou's head (the ceramic owl on the balcony)!
