Room in a Shared House, St Dunstans Street, CT2

The house was built in 1800 and is grade II listed, with a large communal living/dining area. The room is a single room that I've made into a small double - so it has clothing storage & a small double bed there is space for a small desk if wanted. It's £400 a month including bills & council tax (this works out at about £275 for the room and about £125 for council tax, water, electricity, gas, phone & internet & tv licence). I would rent cheaper to someone who doesn't have to pay council tax (i. e. student). I've attached pictures from when i bought the house - it now has different furniture and I've re-done the bathroom (it looks much nicer i got fancy tiles from fired earth & everything) & turned the garden into a veg garden. We're fairly clean/tidy & not really a party house. I teach English literature and creative writing at Kent Uni and am a part-time cleaner, my other lodger is a phd student working on textiles & feminist activism.

We have a cat, who i don't think would like to share with other pets sadly. The is on-street parking on the next street (2 mins walk) for residents.
