This allows cafes and restaurants at the bottom of the street to spread their tables and chairs across creating an amazing place for the locals to eat and enjoy a glass of vino with dinner or have breakfast on the green .

There is a lovely park with cafe at the bottom of the road ( The Green) There are also lots of cafes, restaurants,and shops all around the Green including a french Deli, Italian Trattoria, Spanish Trangallan, Yield Wine bar/charcuterie and 2 new upmarket restaurants, Perilla & Dandy - check them out on trip advisor.Or for a great sunday roast you can head to Cellars a new gastropub.

Tesco is 5 mins away and a fabulous fresh fruit and veg store along the green with the largest selection of vegetables, fruit and spices.

My apartment is fantastically located and is just a short walk to Canonbury station (Overground) or Highbury (Victoria Line) and buses at the bottom of my road will take you everywhere in London.
The 73 will take you to The Angel, Kings cross , Euston, Oxford Street & up to Victoria. Highbury station is a 10 min cab and you can go everywhere from here around London and beyond .
