Room in a Shared House, Lullington Garth, N12

This large, spacious and recently renovated semi-detached house, fully centrally-heated, and located on Lullington Garth in North Finchley with good transport links, has two double rooms (one small) ready for occupation. Since we can only advertise for 1 room we will be happy to send info/pictures of our other room going for 590 incl. bills

This is my parents' house but they live overseas, my boyfriend and I currently occupy one of the rooms and are looking to rent out the others.

Recent major works to the house include:
- Re-paint of the whole house
- New bathrooms and toilets
- New furniture in all bedrooms, with new mattresses
- New living furniture, new dining furniture
- New carpeting
- Front of house and driveway newly-done
- New fridge/freezer, new fridge, new washing machine, tumble dryer
  and new dishwasher – with further kitchen improvements soon

Each room available has a double-bed, wardrobe, dresser, mirror, and bedside table with lamp.

The first floor has a full bathroom (with toilet) plus another guest toilet, the second floor has a shower room and separate toilet. The house has an entrance hall, an open-plan living/dining room with large windows, a spacious well-lit kitchen, and ample storage space throughout. We have a driveway and front garden, as well as a 90-ft back garden and patio facing south. The house is equipped with a fully-functioning alarm system, full central-heating, and smoke- and carbon-monoxide alarms. All occupants will have equal access to common areas.



This is a really nice, safe, residential neighbourhood, with good green spaces and walks, and a riding-club. It’s a 15 minute walk to West Finchley or Woodside Park Tube Station, and the 221 bus runs past the house. It's a 5-minute walk to a local corner shop, cafes, and a 25-minute walk (or 5-minute bus ride on the 221) to Tally Ho Corner, with a full range of high street shops/restaurants. A few minutes more there is a leisure centre, more restaurants, and Vue cinemas located in Great North Leisure Park.

We’re both working professionals, who love what we do. I work in the charity sector (I'm actually based in Norwich, but come down to London on weekends) and my boyfriend works in the travel sector in central London.

We’re friendly, easy-going and sociable, but at the same time like to do our own thing and have some space. We enjoy a night out on weekends but equally a night in cooking and watching movies (we watch way too many tv shows!). We’re looking for reliable housemates who are generally clean and tidy and happy to share household chores. 


We want to live with other professionals but are open to have PhD students
