Room in a Shared House, Clapton, E5

We're looking for a new housemate to come and join us in our beautiful Clapton house. We have a big room available in our 4 bedroom victorian terraced house in the heart of Clapton. It's light room with nice floorboards, fireplace and window overlooking the garden.

We're in an awesome location - just off the Chatsworth Road, right by the River Lea and Millfields park, a short walk to Hackney Central, Homerton and Hackney Downs.

Our house has definitely developed a homely vibe and we're looking for people who'd like to build on that with us and who enjoy communal living.

We have a large living/dining room which we use to hang out, watch films and have dinner together. The dining room looks out onto the garden. We also have a large kitchen downstairs with doors out onto the garden.

We're a friendly and laid back house. We (me and Amy) went to Edinburgh together and are good friends. I share one of the rooms with my girlfriend Elle. We like to have a shared and pretty communal home life - do a house shop and cook together when we can. We're also planning on getting a veg box on the go.

We mainly work 9-5 as a house. Amy works in film and TV, Martin in communications for green organisations and Elle and I are both civil servants. We're looking for a professional person on a similar schedule to come and join our house.

We're sociable, easy going and and enjoy having friends round or heading out for a pint together. We also have an additional basement cinema room, soon to be kitted out with attractive floor cushions. We're also attempting to grow veg in the garden...

The bedroom is £670 PCM plus bills which are around £70 per month (gas/electric, water, council tax, TV, cleaner, broadband)
