Room in a Shared Flat, Bethnal Green Road, E2

Hello! I have a bright and really spacious room to rent in athird floor flat by the end of brick lane.

You’d be living with one other (me). My name is Holly, I’m 31 years old and a medical student, but do have interests outside of this (film, music, theatre, food etc)…

Ideally, I’d like to live with someone who’s keen to contribute to a household. While I’m independent, I find it’s nice to share a meal / drink on occasion and we could split groceries if you’d like a vege delivery.

I’m usually busy, so while I’d like to live with someone interesting, I suppose noise and cleanliness are a bit of a priority. I’m respectful and pretty clean myself (no rotas or anything, but no slob). I’m also looking for someone to rent in the longer-term (6 months to a year, at least).

The flat is smoking and I do frequently smoke rollies in my room and occasionally in the kitchen. I hope this wont offend you. Your room was not smoked in by the previous tenant.

The building is heritage listed, with original sash windows, and the landlord is lovely and easy-going. Everything is in good working order (washing machine, fridge, shower-bath, gas oven).

The location is great - only a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street Overground and a 15 minute walk to either Liverpool Street and Aldgate East. Bus stops are close by (8,388).

Bills are not included (gas, electricity, internet, counciltax), but are not at all excessive. Council tax is reduced as I’m a student, but if you’re a student too itwould be free.

The pictures of the room include the previous tenant’s furniture. A bed is available if you need it. The remainder of the house is furnished with my things. If you have your own kitchen stuff, great,but there is enough to get by if not.
