We are nestled between Carshalton and Sutton, a leafy and quiet area in London's Zone 5, with a friendly, local pub on almost every corner.
There is a small Tesco and M&S with garage within five minutes’ walk for essential daily needs and sleepy Sundays when you don’t want to venture far. Walk 12 minutes to Sutton for access to supermarket giants M&S, ASDA, Sainsburys and Morrisons. There is also a Waitrose at Banstead, just a 10-minute drive away.
For those who love to exercise, there is Fitness for Less and Westcroft Leisure Centre with indoor swimming pool and sports courts close by, as well as many green, leafy park areas just a 10-minute walk away.
The house is a short walk from Sutton high street with a busy street market on some days and high-street stores including Top Shop and Warehouse, Next, Debenhams, M&S, ASDA and DHS, with loads of bars and restaurants. Try the new Ebb & Flow bar and restaurant, the food is great, also the new Antic pub - it's a very up-and-coming area.

Getting around
The house is a 12-minute walk (0.8 mile) to Sutton, Carshalton and Carshalton Beeches overground stations, with a 20-minute journey to Clapham Junction or a 27-minute journey to Victoria (fast, direct trains run regularly from Sutton). There are also easy links to London Bridge and Wimbledon Stations. The bus stop is literally a two-minute walk on Westmead Road (exit house and turn right until you hit Westmead Road and the station towards Sutton and Mordon is to your right) with links to the end of the Northern Line at Morden Station via the 154 (a 20-minute journey), which turns into a night bus allowing access from town around the clock. When existing the bus from Morden, listen for stop ‘Benhill Road’ which is closest to our home.
