The neighbourhood

The house is situated in the leafy area of Furzedown, between Tooting and Streatham. With the hugely popular Tooting Common nearby, the Lido, Tooting food markets, laid-back brunch spots, cafes, bars and restaurants opening regularly and bustling high streets, Tooting and Streatham have plenty to recommend. Getting around

Train: Streatham Common is only a 6 minute walk away, linking to London Victoria in 15 minutes.

Rail: Thameslink services run through Streatham station with trains into central London, ie Farringdon. To St Albans via Blackfriars to the north and Sutton via Wimbledon to the south.

Bus: The nearest bus station is a mere minute walk away and links straight into Brixton (333, To Elephant & Castle), 57 (Kingston).
