Description
Beautifully designed, this stylish and modern 2-bed home is just fabulous. Located in close proximity to central London and boasting enviable transport links, my home is ideal for those looking to enjoy London.
Situated on a tranquil road means that my place is homely and peaceful, yet just a short distance to the exciting hustle and bustle of central London.
This delightful home offers 2 spacious double-bedrooms, a bathroom, cool spiral staircase and upstairs living area.
Both bedrooms open onto the private courtyard garden downstairs, and off the kitchen upstairs is a bright and sunny roof terrace.
The space has been fantastically designed, creating a cool and quirky feel alongside a homely and relaxed atmosphere. Relax upstairs and enjoy the outside area enabling fresh air to circulate freely and an abundance of natural light to fill the home.
The kitchen is fully fitted out with an amazing induction hob, very fast fan oven, built in microwave, full height fridge freezer, full size dishwasher and a washer dryer.
The whole flat has very efficient underfloor heating, the house has excellent double glazing which means there is never a draft. There is an air ventilation system with a heat exchanger which means your bills will be very low and it always has a nice atmosphere.
We have communal indoor bicycle storage and we are just off the quiet way 1 cycle path. Which takes you to Waterloo and the Southbank in an easy 15 minute cycle.
The neighbourhood
Bermondsey’s banks were once lined with wharves and warehouses, but the neighborhood’s riverside beginnings have evolved into stylish lofts and cutting-edge commercial spaces. Bermondsey’s Thames-adjacent real estate welcomes big wigs and sophisticates to its gamut of restaurants, boutiques, and bars that offer unmatched views of Tower Bridge. Fitting in with its avant-garde sense of derelict chic, the Fashion and Textiles Museum is located in the neighbourhood, alongside antiques markets and Europe’s tallest skyscraper, The Shard.
As well as all the trendy things, the Old Kent Road Tescos is just round the corner, and you can get all your shopping from there! As well as bus stops that take you to every part of London!
Getting around
The nearest station is Bermondsey (Underground) which is a 15 minute walk away and there are various bus routes as well. You are able to walk to Tower Bridge and 25 minutes to London Bridge. There are lots of direct bus routes - the Number 1 (1 minute walk to bus stop) goes to Waterloo and then up to Tottenham Court Road. The number 78 (1 minute walk to bus stop) bus takes you to Liverpool Street, Spitalfields and up into trendy Shoreditch.
