Our London flat is available from 16 October on a six month or one year Assured Shorthold Tenancy, or for a shorter period by negotiation. It is in a secure private block with concierge, built nine years ago, and located on a private road.

The flat is spacious (about 850 square feet), comprising: a large living room, semi open-plan to a kitchen fitted with high quality appliances; a large double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom; a second double bedroom that converts, if you wish, to an office using excellent fitted furniture; and a main bathroom. There are various store cupboards, and a 30foot X 5 foot balcony overlooking a park (Meath Gardens), to which there is direct access from the block via security gates.

The flat is furnished to a good standard and has a flatscreen TV and BT Broadband. There is a basic collection of crockery, cutlery, pans etc (and, crucially, an espresso machine).

We keep the flat clean and tidy, but it is a home not a hotel.

Within ten minutes’ walk there are three tube stations,buses are just across the park, and it’s a 30 minute walk to the City financial district. Victoria Park and Queen Mary University are close by, and there are plenty of local shops and restaurants.

The rent is £1,700 a month, and the deposit also £1,700. There is a further charge of £250 a month to cover the actual cost of electricity (there is no gas), water, BT broadband &TV, and Council Tax, though you could make your own arrangements if you wished. A secure under-croft parking space adjacent to the lifts is available for £100a month.
