The house is in a great location, with Balham tube/train station (northern line & overland) at the end of the road i. e. 2 minute walk away. Wandsworth Common train station is an 8 minute walk away. Wandsworth, Clapham & Tooting Commons take only 5 minutes (or less!) to run to. There are lots of bars, pubs & restaurants only a few minutes walk away on Balham High Road & Nightingale Lane.
The room is a moderate sized double, with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe, situated at the back of the house (i. e. nice & quiet!), overlooking the garden. This room is £700 pcm plus bills. Bills are an additional £130 pcm. This includes a cleaner, sky TV, gas, electricity, water, council tax and broadband. The deposit is only £1000.
The house itself is a lovely Victorian 3 bedroom house, set over two floors with extra storage available in the large loft, and also under the stairs.
There is a spacious lounge with leather sofas, 42 inch plasma screen TV, glass coffee table, fireplace and wooden floors. The dining room also has wooden flooring and a fireplace and overlooks the garden. The kitchen is modern, with granite worksurfaces, breakfast bar & stools, underfloor heating, large American-style fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave & flat screen TV. The kitchen leads out to a large garden with lawn, and a raised decked patio area & BBQ - great for barbecues & summer parties! The bathroom is modern with a bath, shower & underfloor heating. There is car parking available on the road and surrounding streets with the purchase of a resident's parking permit.
