The location is amazing, within walking distance of much of Central London, and it has excellent transport links. The nearest underground stations are Lambeth North, Southwark and Elephant and Castle (all less than half a mile) giving access to the Jubilee, Bakerloo and Northern Lines. Thameslink from the Elephant and mainline trains from Waterloo are also within half a mile.  The area is served by buses and segregated cycle lanes at the end of the street which take you to the City and West End.  The house is less than a mile (as the crow flies) from all of the following London landmarks: London Bridge, the Shard, Southwark Bridge, Borough Market, Tate Modern, Blackfriars, the Temple, Waterloo Bridge, the South Bank, Downing Street, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and Lambeth Bridge.

The refurbishment should finish in August, so the house will be available from September. I'm willing to adjust the planned finish and fittings to suit the requirements of a long-term tenant (e.g. colours, appliances etc).

This is my own house, not a business; and it has warmth and character. It really is a lovely place to live and I know you will be happy here.
