Room in a Shared Flat, Garratt Terrace, SW17

I’m considering (initially) a short term tenant for my newly refurbished property a stone throw from Tooting Broadway station (literally around the corner from the station - northern line) and less than a 5 minute walk to St Georges hospital. Possibility to extend to longer term if both parties are happy which hopefully takes some pressure off the new tennant!

The entire property was refurbished recently with new paintwork, flooring, new kitchen and bathroom.

I spend long periods away so you’d often have the place to yourself.

The bedroom itself has a new king size bed and mattress, a Hollywood dresser, clothes rail and bedside unit. There is a patio which leads outside on to the private garden.

There is a shared bathroom which you’d just be sharing with myself, and kitchen although the kitchen is on the smaller side so probably won’t suit you if you like to cook everyday.

Happy to consider anything weekly up to 3 months with the possibility to extend thereafter. Would suit someone in between properties or while they find something longer term. Also anyone who is moving to London for a short project. I’m quite flexible in this regard.

A bit about myself, financial services city worker who moved to London 10 years ago. Currently taking a career break and so I’m not always in London (hence you frequently having the flat to yourself). I have an appreciation for good food, music, long walks and the odd show on Netflix!

I’m looking for a tenant that is easy going, responsible and will look after my home as theirs. No party animals, sorry! I’d prefer a vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian.

Rent is £300/ week or £1200 monthly (pcm) inclusive of all bills with a monthly energy budget cap.
Water, council tax, WiFi are all included in monthly rate.
